Candy Crush Saga Review
Candy Crush Saga is a free to play three in a row puzzle game for mobile devices. It was initially released in 2012, and you can now download Candy Crush Saga on Android, iOS, Windows, and many other platforms.
Gameplay: Trick or Treat
The gameplay is as simple as it sounds: you have to match three candies in a row to get them exploded. As soon as you explode all the candies needed, you complete the level and go to the next one. There are also several mini-games available to spare some time from beating the main challenges. There are also power-ups for you to easily finish the levels. Still, the greatest thing about Candy Crush Saga is that it has enormous levels available, having new ones released very frequently. The game is free to play, so you might expect some microtransactions, and they indeed exist: you can buy power-ups for real money, and the game pushes you to make a purchase as hard as it is able to.
Graphics: Attractive and Appropriate
The game is made for players of all ages, so the graphics are as appropriate as you would imagine. The game is cute and non-violent or offensive, it utilizes candies and bright colors to attract the children and their parents. The visuals are not stunning; however, they are good enough to keep your attention for some time. The animations are smooth and colorful, and the game works properly on all devices without significant bugs noticed.
Controls: Children-level Intuitive
It is obvious that the game, which is aimed at the children's audience, is very intuitive and easy to play, and Candy Crush Saga is no exception to that. You only have to swipe the candies to swap them and use the power-ups with one tap in case needed. These are all the controls available, so even if it is your first game to play ever, you will quickly figure out how it works.
Conclusion
The game does offer a lot of levels, but it gets boring sooner or later. We still strongly recommend checking it out as it brings much fun for some time and is interesting to play, but we must warn you that the gameplay does not change much through the thousands of levels available. The game will probably want you to buy power-u, which is another drawback, so we suggest playing it until it gets boring and not making in-game purchases, as they wonât truly change a thing.
